    dvd replacement

     
    Can I replace a dvd rom drive with a dvdrw drive?
    I already have a dvdrw drive as my second drive...The dvd rom died and I thought if I replace it with annother dvdrw I would be ok if my other dvdrw died!
    I have dimension e521 running vista premiun which I am about to upgrade to windows 7...
    Also...what size sata dvdrw should I get?

    Yes, absolutely. Every DVD/RW drive can also read discs, obviously, so there's no problem having two DVD/RW drives. Here are the installation instructions for your system.

    All optical drives are the same size.
