Recommended TV Card
I want to install a TV card on my system running Win XP Pro x64. Is there a recommended card? I'm concerned about installing a card on Win XP Pro x64. I've read where finding the drivers can be an issue.
My system:
Intel Desktop Board DX58SO (Intel x58 chipset)
Intel Core i7-920 Processor @ 2.66 GHz
6GB DDR3 1600 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT video card w/ Dual LG Flatron L227WTG monitors
4 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm HDDs in RAID (0) configuration
Win XP Pro x64 OS
I've got one conventional PCI slot and one PCIe x16 slot available.
I'm interested in a card that will work with my basic analog cable, broadcast HDTV and FM.
Are there any cards to stay away from?

I suggest a dual tuner card...
I also suggest using a good ATI card from the 3XXX or 4XXX series with passive cooling and an HDMI output instead of that nvidia card
I've used most brands of tuner cards and havent had any major issues...
Haupaugge is considered one of the better brands...
I have bought several open box cards without any issues...

The fans of each iteration of vB at that site seem to see us as a test of how well vB4 handles a large site. I quite like the software. It works well enough from my perspective.
Apparently the TIMO Board Upgrade...
