voice recorder problem...help!
hi guys, i knw dis has nuttin to do wit comps but i need some help with this. thank u very much
ok...
i have a sony mp3 voice recorder. it records well. when i playback the recorded sound/file, listening from the stereo jack thru headphones, there is no sound coming from the right side of the headphones. at first i thought the right ear headphone was faulty, so i used 2 more pairs of different headphones. same problem, right side no sound.
i thought to myself theres no way all 3 of my headphones were faulty coz i tried the headphones on the comp, ipod & sound was comin from the right. also when i play the recorded file from the voice recorder on the computer (winamp), sound was comin from the right side speakers.
so i thought the problem is comin from the voice recorder, that the sound playback cant go thru any headphones (to the right ear side).
ive identified the problem, but can any1 tell me how to fix it & how dis thing happened? i bought my recorder from ebay with all the legit packaging & 1 year warranty. i have never misused this recorder such as dropping it etc.
thank u for ur help...

It would help to know the model of the recorder... Does it even record in stereo?
Can you transfer the file to the computer and see if it plays in stereo there?◄ it is what it is ►

IMO, you have a problem with this unit... If it's still under a warranty, get it fixed, or contact the seller from Ebay...

That's a normal short circuit of the stereo jack... The same procedure will produce the same effect on a good unit... As I stated above, try contacting the seller... If they are a member in good standing with Ebay, they should be willing to replace the unit. It is defective IMHO
Good luck mate!◄ it is what it is ►
