ZiiSound bluetooth speakers from Creative Labs

I have had my eyes set on D5 speakers from Creative since I first came across them on Slashgear last year.

They now finally seem to be available from the manufacturer:

But I wonder - will I be able to use these speakers with any bluetooth source?
Planning to use both my hp laptop and my motorola phone motorazr v3i.
Any ideas?
Also - they say they use "apt-X audio codec for superior stereo Bluetooth audio". Has anyone used this codec and can tell how it performs?

Bluetooth is a standard; as long as both units follow the standard, they will interconnect without any issues.
