Olympus Digital Voice Recorder Problem
I have an Olympus Digital Voice recorder WS 450S with the following issues:
1) It has two files on it totally less than 3 hours and yet when you try to record it says "memory full"
2) All the other Folders are empty
3) Plugging it into a Macbook - and doing Command I on the files shows them to have zero kilobytes. I drag them onto the desk top and they do not play.. though they do play if I listen to them directly from the Recorder when it is hand held.
4) Doing Command I on the whole mounted Recorder as it appears on the desk top confirms that the 1 gig disk is 'Full'

Can anyone make any suggestions to cure the problem?
Should I just reformat this device for?
Can I reformat it for a Mac ?
( like you can format a memory stick or flash drive for either PC or Mac)
All suggestions gratefully accepted
