I have a main stage piano which is a Roland RD-700GX keyboard. In addition, I wish to use a roland XP-10 as a midi controller keyboard, to play sounds sent to it from the RD-700.

When I plug in the midi cables, I cannot get any sound to come from the XP-10. When I had a basic mido-controller keyboard plugged in, I had it all working but so far I have had no luck with the XP10. Any help would be really appreciated!
