Wireless cable repeater

I'm not sure if I'm going about my search the wrong way, but I was searching for something that would wirelessly repeat the incoming cable signal both ways.

I've found devices that will hook into your HD dvr box and send a video signal wirelessly while also repeating your IR remote signal, but not something that you can put before your cable box. I know there is a ton of data being sent across the cable coax, but I don't know enough to know if what I speak of is possible.

In short, what I want is this:

Cable connects to wireless transmitter, sends to receiver ~30 feet away, receiver outputs coax connection to DVR which hooks into the tv.

I'm sure you could find someone who's willing to run coax for less that your proposed setup is going to cost.

yeah, that's part of the question really. The one HD video rebroadcaster I found was $330 and it's signal required LOS. There were others that implied they could put a high resolution computer screen on your tv, but looking into their specs the tv connection was composite.

In any case, since I looked and didn't find anything I asked in here partly out of curiosity of whether it exists or not (cable signal wireless repeating, not just audio video).
