Need to connect VGA to PC or HDMI to PC
I have a 50 inch Sony Bravia flat screen HDTV. I have CAT5 install to room from the front of the conference room to the table so potential clients can connect their laptops to the TV screen using some sort of transceiver. I currently have a Cat5 to VGA transceiver which doesn't work to well. I purchase this HDMI to CAT5e converter from amazon by SABRENT I don't know if this is the actual device I needed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work with the current installation (Cat5e installation) I dont mind using the VGA extension if thats the only way available.

Remote desktop/VNC programs and a wifi connection may be an easy solution.

Ouch, idle temp is way too high. Should be idle around 30-45c Top temps at load should be 80-85, anything more than 90 and its running hotter than it should. Make sure the case fans are...
