my audio DVD player can’t work?

I’ve never learned how and there insint anything in the handbook! What’s the normal way to make the DVD player play through the speakers of my car?
    this is mine: link here
When I put in a DVD the audio isn't working i think it’s supposed to run through the cars speakers but I’m not sure if it has anything to do. How can I fix the audio or how can i find out What’s wrong? Any help will be appreciated.

Um, first of all, technically this isn't a PC hardware tech topic...

2nd, do you get ANY audio through the car speakers? If so, its probably an option or setting in the menu's for the DVD Player, not an issue of Wiring or anything.

I'd find the manual, or see if there is one online to download and read it.

Unless it is a bad cable it is probably a bad connection.
Connect the DVD player to Component 1 (using r/g/b cables)
Connect now r/w audio corresponding to those video cables.

Switch TV input to Comp 1 - Audio? If yes, you are done.
If not, using the TV's remote try ALL ports . If you hit audio, then you connected the cables to the wrong TV port. Replace and try again.
