Smile Starting a podcast, need equipment help

    Hello,

I need help with something. I need to set up a home recording studio with augmented voice (my voice needs to sound inhuman using a software). I've already purchased the shure58 (I'm told it's the best thing to get), but I'm a novice and now I'm finding out that something in between is needed to get the best audio quality.

Some people are suggesting XLR to USB like Blue Icicle or X2U and others are suggesting mixers like Behringer 802. I'm not an audio expert and I would really appreciate your help.
