    Question Combining AVI

     
    Is there software that can combine multiple AVI file into one AVI file?

    Go to www.divx.com. They have just about every utility you will need for avi editing, clipping, appending, etc.

    VCD HELP is a good place when it comes to AVI files, and vcd, I linked you tyo the tools page. I go there a lot for help

    OK. I tried virtualdub, but it said that I need a VFW codec for MP43C. any ideas where I can find this animal?

    MP43C I believe is wmv which virtualdub will not currently process, older versions of virtualdub do accept it but not newer (per request by MS).

    VFW=Video for windows.
    Getting the latest codec pack from ms might solve your problem.

    I've got the latest codec pack, but it doesn't seem to help. would windows movie maker work for this?

    How about NanDub?
    I know that it is like Virtual Dub, but it might be a little different with that stuff.
