Its not a whine...Its a fair Post.
You don't like it OHH well.
Maybe your stock in Klipsch will fall if to many posts are of a negative sort huh?
LOL Whats your point?
Are all posts suppose to be positive?
If they had such a good product you explain to me why Klipsch themselves admits there are problems??
AND THE PROBLEM LIES IN THE SUB NOT THE SPEAKERS for the guy who has the 2.1s with no problem.
California has some good wine..Wisconsin has good cheese.
You bring the Wine and Ill bring the cheese.

You SAY there have been hundreds of people with the same problem. Well with millions of units sold, that's a pretty damn good ratio. | No, that's not a good ratio. If you can find with ease people having problems with a product, it's not good. Lots of Klipsch competitors don't have near as many problems as Klipsch do, so Klipsch is lacking somewhere. If you pay that much money for them, the chances should be much lower than that.
I've listened to a few Klipsch systems though, and they indeed do sound good, but for what you get, they arent worth that much money. |

Wow I didn't realize that NOW the new Ultras have problems too??? You do understand that this post which by the way is a bit old was for the 5.1 Promedia line.... Not the New Ultras.
But frankly I'm not surprised you have had problems. Since the beginning of 2003 I have talked to many Audio Stores around my area and they have stopped carrying the Klipsch line altogether.
Very sad but I understand why if they have nothing but complaints on the quality of the material and workmanship.
Good luck with your replacements, I hope they don't fizzle out on you again.

Lotsa high emotion grumbling going on here. Lartamas, you either have been really unlucky, or you are doing something with the speakers you shouldnt. Mind telling us how you run the speakers? Got any extra amps installed? Could it be a bad elctrical outlet?
Overall, Klipsh makes very high quality speakers. We are talking about a few subs that have given out. Woop-de-friggen-do. If you really think its a problem, call the BBB or sic the MaximumPC watchdog onto them watchdog@maximumpc.com |

I know this is nothing to do with the 5.1's, but I have a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers over 35 years old that can still blast you out of the room.

The thing you have to remember about ANYONE posting about a product, particularly a computer product on a forum is that the ones that are happlily bopping away to their speakers arent there talking about it.
OuT nailed it. If they sell 1,000,000 units with a 1% defect rate, that is 10,000 defective units. Yeah, thats alot of unhappy people, but 990,000 people is alot of happy people too.
Just remember, for every person (such as yourself) screaming about how terrible a product is, there are many quiet happy ones.
