Fortissimo II Sound Card with Optical out.

Anybody using the Fortissimo II sound card?? Is it any good ? How so ?

I figure it's good value for dollar with Optical out.

Any tales from the front??

I don't have the Fortissimo II card, but I do have the Muse XL. And I really like this card better than my X-Gamer Live 5.1.
The Muse XL was also a lot easier to set up than the X-Gamer card, also took less time to install the drivers.

The Fortissimo II can only be better than the Muse XL. I would have gotten the Fortissimo, but didn't really need the optical stuff.

Almost usually true , but sometimes the "next version" is worse!
Sometimes the "improvement" is a bigger price and some dopey gizmo.

By the way....I broke through "four hundred" without notice or fanfare.
