Hey Guys, I ripped all my CDs in WMA format to put on my Nomad Juke Box because the WMA files were normally smaller. Well now I also have a CD Player that supports MP3s. I have been looking for a program that will convert my WMA to MP3 in one job, The Creative stuff requires me to convert to a WAV file first and then MP3 which is too time consuming. Does anybody know of some shareware or freeware that can do that kind of a batch job? Ill pay if it isnt to expensive. Thanks

? Why do you want to convert?
Converting from one format to another (e.g. WMA to MP3, MP3 to OGG, OGG to WMA, etc, etc) will result in quailty loss.
DO you simply want to convert to make your hd look nice? |

| Rip the discs again, but to MP3. For BEST quality with minimum size, use the default vbr setting in easyLAME: http://free.pages.at/volcano/lame/index_en.html
There are many other programs out there that use LAME, including CDEX which contains a ripper as well. Exact Audio Copy remains the first choice for ripping to WAV; easyLAME will take it from there. Smaller files but good quality. |

I'd love to rip all of my CD's into MP3, but WMP only supports one type of file... |
