how do i order mp3 tracks on a sony mp3 player!!

I'm using "easy cd creator" to burn mp3s for a Sony MP3/CD player. Even when I edit the playlist correctly in the program, the MP3 player always plays the tracks in alphabetical order! What is going on??

Welcome to techimo... I'm not certain about how to sequence MP3s, but I'd suspect that EZCD treats the files alphabetically because EZCD considers the files to be data files. I'd dig around in the help files to see if maybe it is an option. Which version of EZCD, BTW?

hmmm

thanks..i've tried searching everywhere. there is an option to arrange your own playlist, but even when i do that, it burns the cd in alphabetical order. at least i think. when i play back the burned cd on my computer, it plays in the correct order, but when i put it in my mp3 player, it goes back to alphabetical. i'm getting around it by prefacing each filename with a number, which is a royal pain, but it gets the job done...
