Step by step playlist creation using windows media player---

Helping a neighbor---simply wants to run thru a succession of tracks by clicking on a playlist---WinXP Pro---for the "usual" reason im havin a little difficulty (dorkX10)
:-)
It sure looks simple---but is confounding me...

Which player you using? Media player?

I use Musicmatch and cut/paste playlist works. Haven't tried in Media Player though.

This is how I do it:
Open up Media Player. Click on "Media Library". Right click on "My Playlists" and select "New". Click "OK" to close the playlist window. Now click on "All Music" and drag the music you want into the newly created playlist.
