Subwoofer help

for some reason my sub is not working in winamp 5 or any of the 5.1 games i play. I have the sound blaster audigy2 zs and i have it hooked up to a reciever through 6 channel input. Its works when i test speakers in EAX console but doesnt seem present in any eax games or winamp. Anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe the software thinks you're running in 2.1 or 4.1 mode so it's not sending the sub signal out the sub out.

lol sorry I have a yamaha HTR-5630 receiver connected to the computer through both digital SPDIF and analog through the 3 outputs in the back of the card to 5.1 input on the receiver. I have a 125 watt 10' KLH Sub. The rest of my speakers are also KLH.

When i play AA I hear the 5.1 very very well but theres hardly any bass. Its only coming from my two front bookshelf speakers and very weak.

it isnt sending digital audio i have the same problem(as far as the surround goes). even though its coming from a digital source the signal is analog. my sub works fine though

no i dont have a problem with the digital signal. I have it going through analog to 6 channel input for EAX games and such. It all works fine but the sub. It works when im in SPDIF but not 6 channel input. I have no bass for anything in 6 channel input.

HELP!! please someone. the cables are all new and i know I have it hooked up right. I think its something in the software....
