    nForce Onboard Audio Control Panel

I have a Shuttle AN35N, and using the onboard MCP audio. Is there a control panel available for download? I haven't been able to find one. Thanks for the help.

Nope. Sorry. The control panel is only available for the SoundStorm™ Technology equipped mobo's.

this seems odd, given that the MCP uses the Realtek AC'97 specs, and VIA based boards have control panel software with the same chipset...

What's a "Control Panel"? My Gigabyte Nforce2 mobo (forgot the model) has the Realtek AC'97 audio onboard and has some nice tuning options with it. I could send you the drivers if you want.

I found a small Realtek program that has about 10 presets for the equalizer, and several other options...is the same deal you have?

    "What's a "Control Panel"?"

Sound Storm control panel. You have the MCP (software sound). THe SoundStorm Certified boards all use the MCP-T chip. THe -T defines it as hardware accelerated. Less cpu load= better gaming etc.

    "Realtek AC'97"

That will not have anything to do with the Soundstorm control panel. That is simply the audio codec chip. It converts the digital sound to analouge. If you are useing pure digital spks. its not doing anything.

Mine came with an EQ and the ablity to change the type of room your in. Nothing very exciting but it's a "Control Panel" of sorts.
