my wireless
i have road Runner in my home and i have a wireless router setup and i have one laptop setup to it and now i am trying to set my laptop up to it and i am having no luck at all with it. I have tried and tried again but it won't work. I have gone to my interent connection and it says my wireless network is unavailabe. My computer has found the wireless network through my card but it is not allowing it to connect. I have refreshed it numerous time and it will not allow me to connect. I have a private network setup in my home which requires the network key and after i enter the passwor it will not allow my acess to my network. On top of that i don not have the flashing lights at the bottom of my screen next to my clock that i am supposed to have. I need some assistance in this matter. From what i know the card i have is good because it is finding the wireless network i just cannot figure out what to do from there. I have tried numerous times and still nothing
Looking for a little help
Thanks
Parker

What OS are you using, XP is rather easy in wireless. Anything else and everything is manually set up. Make sure you are using the same SSID. Also, try disabling wep, just for now, and see if you can connect. Once thats done, reenable wep for your security. WEP encyption also has to be identicale on both sides.
