Quick NAT question
Quick and easy question, and I am pretty sure of the answer already, but I would like to be sure before I continue.
Does a NAT router change the source MAC address in the packet when it routes?
Also, would a proxy server modify the source MAC address?
See, quite easy
I believe the answer is no for the router as it would kill all ability to route backwards once it returned to the router, but feel free to correct me
As far as the proxy goes I have no idea on.
Thanks
