MacOSX- Problems with keeping wireless conection
Alright another stupid human question....
Sometimes when I start my wife's PowerBookG4 it will log onto the network/internet. Other times it doesn't!! I check the config page of the Lynxys Wireless B BEFW11S4 it shows my two pc's wired to the router in the DHCP page but not the PowerBook. So I try multiple reboots but, never fails, the thing does not log on. After waiting an hour I finally get service?!
What's up with that? Am I missing a setting there somewhere? Also, when it does show up in the config page it does not have the name that I gave it, just some gobbledy gook that looks like writing (I guess windings or maybe it's some script).
Should this be common or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance!!Fill cups like Double D's!!

Hey,
Did you use the software update function?
What version of Mac OS X are you using?
Apple released an Airport Software resently dealing with loosing airport connection.
Try that and see if it works

Anyone have Memorial Day weekend plans? Living vicariously, ya' know. ;p Doubt I will be going to the beach - well, I might drive by the local beach, but actually trying to find a parking spot...
