Stupid Internet redirects... how do I fix?
Anytime I type in a dead or non-existing URL, instead of the usually DNS error or page not found page, a stupid ShopNav search page comes up. How do I delete this piece of stinking junk? Die SPAM!!! ;[

Doesn't work for me.... It says cannot Load Library after running DOS, and I can't find the things in the registry editor.

Hallo Village
You have the problem of internet explorer hijacking. Here is a page where you can directly download a stand alone file called hijackthis.
http://209.133.47.12/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe
Run the file directly and press 'scan' button. It will give you reasults. You will find the bho files in the list related to shopnav. select those files and press fix button. You will find some more spyware or adware things in the list that you can remove. But not all, many of them are important files.
It will surely remove that stupid thing from your computer.
Good wishes see you. Sincerely

I had the same problem today. I had a virus and got hijacked. I resolved all my problems. I used SpyBot S&D for the hijack. Is there a program that runs all the time like anti virus that stops the hijacking before the hijack happens?

Hallo
I also had the perfectnav hijack once. I removed it by hijackthis. I use Sygate firewall and Quick Heal online protection. It helps in many cases. Adaware, spybot and hijackthis I use to keep my pc completely clean.
