Continuously Disconnecting Network

My Friend has a small 2-computer network at his house. We use it to play "Unreal Tournament" and "Command and Conquer Generals" all the time. His internet connection is dial-up. The Problem? Right in the middle of a game, the main computer disconnects from the network and tries to dial up, even though the network was running fine. This kills the game and we have to re start it. How do I fix this?

Not sure about a fix with it killing the game, but you could easily setup the dialup not to automatically redial. Just goto the control panel and network connections and then properties

i have the same problem too, and telling the computer not to automatically dial up doesnt help, it dials up anyways whenever a program asks it to

Yeah, i kind of thought it was something more than just a controll panel fix... Do you know anyone else that might help me out?
