HOW?? wired to wireless to wired networking

I need a hand here.

I am setting up a semi long-range wireless connection between two people, I'll call them A and B. A has a high speed 2+ Mbit/s connection, and wants to share it with B, who lives 800 feet away. They each have 3 computers. A has a router on his connection, with an extra port, which I figured I would use for the wireless AP/antenna/poe injector. My question is: how do I connect B's computers at the recieving end? I know I could easily do one computer simply using a wireless pci nic and a good antenna, but how do I get all 3 computers connected? Do I need a switch at B's end? I would greatly appreciate any advice from all you late night techies.

Technically, this is not illegal. The two parties are members of the same family, and they share the same bill. Their ISP has no issues with this. They live in a remote area, and A's connection is a Trango long range (about 6 miles) wireless, with maximum throughput of 10 mbit/s, but usually capped at 2 mbit/s. Also, they are located in Canada, where things are slightly different.

on B side

you could do

a wireless network card and a nic card. This computer will have ICS running to share out the internet

you would plug the nic card into switch and plug the other computers into the switch to get an ip from the ICS box. I hope im reading what you want to do right.

Also do you have LOS?

Ok, that makes sense. I suppose the only issue might be that the recieving computer on B's side would have to be running full time to keep ICS running, no? And yes, they do have great LOS- I figure that a 5-8 db antenna should do the trick. The base AP is a senao NL-3054CB3 long range. A bit on the high side cost wise, but really powerful.

Forgot to mention-B has an in-home wireless network, so I guess they would have to have their wireless router plugged into their switch?

(I'm getting paid well for this) lol

yes the ICS box will have to be on all the time for the other machines to access the network

Is there possibly a way around the necessity to keep B's computer on full time?

you can get another access point with an ethernet port on it and set the access point to bridge mode

Fantastic! I should have thought of that lol. It looks like the Senao can be both AP and/or bridge. Thanks a lot!
