| Wireless USB network adapter problem!
No wireless connection tab...
So here I am with a wireless linksys AP/router WRT54G and 1 wireless usb network adapter WUSB54G. The AP/router is connected to a adsl broadband router/modem (NEC NTA-3110). The first computer is connected wired to the linksys AP/router and is working fine.. I set up the stuff at 192.168.1.1
Now I'm trying to set up the wireless USB adapter to connect my 2nd computer to the internet and to the network. So I plug it into the USB port and it tells me to install the drivers like the installation guide said, then somehow after it finished installing drivers, I don't see any wireless connection tray icon to search for networks nor do I see "wireless connection" under my network connections tab.
Any idea what's going on?
I've already tried disabling Linksys' own WLAN monitor software and also restarted the Wireless Zero Configuration service under services with no luck. If anyone has a clue as to why it doesnt show a wireless connection, please let me know.
Oh, I also checked device manager and it shows the USB adapter to be working and I have disabled the old NIC in that computer.
Thanks in advance!
