cant connect >>again<<
have two NIC
an external one and one onboard
i have always used the external one. but recently i switched to see if i can get Wake on link to work
but it didnt work.
anyway. so i continued to use my onboard NIC.
before. people can connect to my PC in games, with Remote administrator, with seti@home and also of stuff
now cant@@
so i plug the cable back to my external NIC.
but now it wont work!
it wont renew my IP. !
now nothing works. ; _ ;

If this is Windows XP, open a command prompt window and at the prompt type:
netsh int ip reset c:\newstack.log
and hit Enter. Once it's done, release, renew, and reboot.

Hurray! one problem down.
The other problem remains. I got the old NIC to be connected. But it still refuses to host and stuff.
It feels like an invisible firewall is on.
I turned off the firewall of Win XP
i turned of zone alarm pro
i turned of kasasky anti-hacker

The command I gave you rebuilds your TCP/IP stack. Only works in Windows XP.
Not sure what to tell you about your other problem, except check the properties of the other nic, and its TCP/IP settings.
