iBook Airport Connect to WEP Wireless Problems

My friend brought her iBook over last night, and it's got a nice AirPort card in it. I could see all the WLANs in my building, but I couldn't connect through anything. My WLAN has 128bit WEP, and I put in my key and got connected, but it wouldn't go anywhere. Turned WEP off, same thing.

I plugged it in with a hard line and it worked perfectly.

Anyone know what I'm missing here?

I set the encryption method on the AirPort settings to 128bit ASCII (40bit is the only other option).

It seemed to connect to the network itself, but I couldn't get any pages to load.

Is there an "ipconfig" command in OSX that I can't find or something?

Any ideas?

Thanks.
