In a nutshell you don't.
If you want to try, get a few million in venture capital. Then try to find some customers.

You don't do it. It just isn't a reasonable thing to do. If you need to host something, you either pay someone to do it, or colo.

I upgraded to Premium RR about 3 weeks ago
Gotta love speed............
6Mbps Roadrunner
San Antonio 'Premium' tier unveiled
Time Warner Cable customers in San Antonio are receiving promotional information for a 6Mbps downstream/512kbps upstream "Roadrunner Premium" service. The regional Time Warner Cable website is offering the speed for $69.95 a month, which includes "free" wireless service (plus a $50 installation fee and a 2 PC limit). However as the now X-tinct Roadrunner Xtreme tier proved, some offers from Time Warner and Roadrunner are often restricted to certain markets. According to internal sources we've spoken to, several markets are still contemplating a 1Mbps "Lite" tier to appeal to hesitant dial-up converts.
And, I think my daughter is gonna nominate me for father of the year for the wireless connection
Laterz,
dafanman
They also screwed up when they firs offered the premium service......they failed to mention the home networking and wireless rr was included in the new speed tier, so when I called in to pay my bill the next time, I grilled them on this "Missing" part of the offer.............as a result, free install and 1 mo at no charge

I live in south Florida, paid $50 a month for a 3mbit connection, with 384kbps upload from Bellsouth DSL, only other company out here is Comcast i think, and they offer pretty much the same for alittle less if u are a comcast customer.
Then i couldnt afford it anymore, and now im at something around 30 Kb/s.

i cant stand it, with 4 computers on the network, internet surfing becomes impossible.
its really hard going from DSL to that slow or slower.Last edited by CMP 2003; August 13th, 2004 at 10:42 PM.
