FTP help needed (Serv-U)

Has anyone used Serv-U FTP? I just got it and have gone thru the initial set up but i dont know how to connect to the FTP from another comp. Im really not sure what i have to do. Im completey new at this so any help would be awsome

i am currently using the serv-u and in order to connect in you can use ie, ff or some ws_ftp and connect to your server ip. ex. on ie you type ftp://your ip here to use it on ie or ff you have to type in the prefix ftp:// or if you use ws_ft go ahead and type in ur ip

i tried thru IE but i get an error sayin something about not finding a folder?
After installing and running thru the serv-u admin setup is there anything else i have to do?

did you set up a domain? and if you have dyn ip address leave the ip on the domain settings blank. if you are trying through IE and you maade a admin id you have to log in by going to File and click log in as and then you can log in and see your folder

yes i have a domain set up, i left the ip blank, i found that i had to turn off windows firewall on the FTP server to get in but now my im tryin to change the home dir fokder but when i change it to something else and log in on my other comp it still brings me to my old home dir folder
