dsl/dial up

is it possible to run the two from the same machine at the same time?
using win xp
two seperate isp's

I have never done it-- but sure, I think it is possible.

You would have to have both the DSL and telephone modem hooked up. The DSL would be considered a network connection.

There would be enough bandwidth.

Any other takers?

as you can see i'm new to all this. What i'm trying(want) to do is have 2 different ip's for the same puter at the same time. is this even possible?

i think it would work. If i am correct, the DSL comes down a separate part of the phone line and the modem would be using the voice part of the phone line.

the part that might get confusing is telling your apps which connection to use. For example, IE (as far as i know) can only be setup to use one connection type. You cannot have one IE window open using the dial up and another open using the DSL.
