View Networked Computers
All computers running Windows XP Pro SP2.
This was working before, I could view the other computers on my network on any computer using My Network Places. Now, one of them stopped being able to. I didn't change any settings at all. All the other computers are still able to navigate to the other computers.
It's not the router or the switch, because the other computers can still see each other. It's not the cable, because I can still go on the internet on the problem computer. I have all computers on static IP, 192.168.1.xxx. Also all on the same subnet mask, 255.255.255.0.
Anyone have any ideas?
Edit: Just checked, the other computers can navigate to the problem computer.
Just checked again, I can ping the other computers on my network. I also tried going to Start > Run and typing \\COMPUTERNAME\SHAREDFOLDER and \\192.168.1.200\SHAREDFOLDER but both reported that the network path was not found.Last edited by tgxiii; September 30th, 2004 at 03:31 PM.

Well today is the first day of drill training and active service for my son in the National Guard! :) So proud of that kid. Starting out early too.
