ethernet speed
How can I determine (in Windows 2000 Pro) the speed my Ethernet card has negotiated with the network?
10 / 100Mb / simplex / duplex.

If you have the network connection icon on your tray, you can double click on it, and there it will tell you, or you can go to "my network" and right click on the local area network icon, and it will give you the same result.

Thanks, the anser is obvious, but I'm currently at home (no network) and was asked the question in an email.

I don't believe that will tell you FD/HD, just speed.

I passed the information on, and I'm afraid Siliconjunkie's right.
