Once you set up your account did you synchronize it?
Go to address book > tools > synchronize now, in outlook
They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

    Sweeper,

The way I understood the link was that you have to PAY for "Outlook Connector for MSN" in the premium services.

Its that or manually input each contact.

YOu might try and find a 3rd party proggy, but Im doubtful you'll find anything.

Cool There is a way to synchronize Outlook and Hotmail address books indirectly!

You can't synchronize Outlook and Hotmail address books directly,

Amazing, isn't it? Though Microsoft owns Outlook and MSN/Hotmail, they only offer e-mail addresses to be shared between them if you purchase a service!

But there is a way around it.... you can use Outlook Express as a go-between.

    Between Hotmail and Outlook Express:

First, set up Outlook Express to access your MSN/Hotmail account.

Select Tools, Accounts and click Add Mail to start the Internet Connection Wizard.

Enter your Hotmail e-mail address in the top text box on the second page.

Once the account is set up, go to Outlook Express's address book and select Tools, Synchronize Now.
(If that option isn't there, select Tools, Options, check Do not share information..., and click OK twice. Exit both the address book and Outlook Express, and then reopen them. Now you can select Tools, Synchronize Now.)

Between Outlook Express and Outlook 2003:

In Outlook, go to File, Import and Export.

Select Import Internet Mail and Addresses, and click Next

    Select Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6.x
    Uncheck Import Mail
    Uncheck Import Rules
Make sure that Import Address book is checked (since that is what you want to do)

Click on Do not import duplicate items, and then click Finish.

    __________________________________________________ ____

There you have it, all your addresses from Hotmail neatly imported to Outlook 2003.
