I have a linksys router and I've tried admin/pass, admin/admin, admin/password, and admin/(no password), and it still won't access. I looked on the actual router and couldn't find a reset button, so do I just leave it unplugged for a little bit to restart? Or, doesn't anybody know the defualt log-in for Linksys routers? Thanks |

i'll vouch for that...same on my linksys (by default) no name and default pw is admin . If you still can't get in just unplug it for a few minutes and it should reset everything! (by a few minutes i mean like 10 minutes...i believe the router will hold its information for a while if it is unplugged though i'm not sure....Actually...we've had power outages and it worked fine...so never mind..i'm probably wrong. you probably can't reset it by pulling power. If the p/w admin dosen't work let us know what model of router you have and someone should be able to tell you where the reset button is . if you look on the bottom, there should be a sticker that will tell you the full model number . |

no user name and admin pw didn't work... one of my friends might have changed it without me knowing. I will have to wait until tomorrow to find the model number because the router is in my room mates room and he's sleeping. |

There should be a reset on the back. It may take a pencil tip to press it in. Give us more info on the model #? |

The model number is BefSR41 version 2. I looked all over and couldn't find any reset button. |
