No, you don't need one plugged in all the time. I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I thought that you had to setup the router with a wired computer. But once its setup, you can remove the wired computer. That's what I thought. |

Sorry, I just remembered. I did have to use the cd to setup the modem. It would then ask you to create a sbcglobal account or if you already have a yahoo account, then you could use that. But nothing special. The cd came with the modem too. |
