    Wireless Router as Ethernet Bridge

I have 2 D-Link DI-524 wireless routers and attempting to setup my home network. I got the wireless network setup, and am attempting to use the 2nd wireless router as a bridge to connect my Xbox to so I can FTP to it wirelessly. I was under the impression that all routers could be used as a bridge, but D-Link tech support said I could not use a router as a bridge and I need to buy something different. Are they just giving me static or should I take one of the routers back and buy something different? Thanks.

Not all routers can do this. They may very well be correct.

Thanks for the response. In that case can someone either suggest a particular model that would be good for this or explain what I need to look for to make sure the next one I buy will work?

Just bought a Belkin "G" that says it can be used as a bridge. I havent tried it, so I don't know. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=136493 Try the manual to see if it works for you. Good luck. Brian
