Which Gigabit managed ethernet switch?
i am looking to purchase a 24 port (or a 48 port, if not double the cost) managed 10/100/1000 (Gigabit) ethernet switch, all copper, no fibre.
The only requirement I really have is that I can monitor the bandwidth going in and out of each port. I already have software to obtain this information via SNMP and graph it, which is operating on an existing HP ProCurve 2524 switch, but I am looking to add another managed switch to my network to monitor a seperate part of it. I would obviously like this software to work on our new switch as well, but i don't know if this sort of information is available as a standard part of SNMP, or whether the switch has to support it.
I appreciate that most managed switches offer a lot of other features, but i'm really not interested in them at this stage. I just want to be able to monitor bandwidth being used by each port.
Any recommendations??
Thanks in advance

ok, i've found a few possibilities:
- HP ProCurve 2824
- Netgear GSM7324
- 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 3824
- D-Link DGS-3324SR
what are your opinions of the above switches? Can you recommend an entirely different one?
Thanks again to all who can offer advice
