Just because of the basic nature of a router you can't have multiple comptuers with their own external ip's behind a router. Even if you could (which you can't) you would have to buy another external ip from your ISP. (I doubt they would give you one for free) I think you are going down the wrong path in fixiong your problem. You must have set something up wrong with your router or the program that you are trying to use. It would help alot if you would explain what you are trying to do.

I would say you are 100% wrong. You can't route to a private IP, period. You can MAP ports to it, but not route to it.

Now I do have another router on the network. But that router is where my cable line goes into and then splits it into 4 ports. I know it is not this because we have had a web server on this network before (not running through the linksys). I have assigned a Static IP (one given to me from Road Runner) to the line running to my linksys.

My linksys is now giving me a static network ip (192.168.1.2). I have tried to open ports using the linksys and try DMZ and that does not work. I have disabled microsoft firewal, etc. Nothing works.

Here is a sketch:

I had a similar problem but it was with an FTP server. I had to tell the server that its IP was not 192.x.x.x but rather 65.33.x.x . This was done via the server software. It was getting the packets forwarded by the router but the software was ignoring them. Maybe CS is doing the same thing? Just an idea, I have no clue if CS can take a new IP or anything like that.
