FireFox tabbing?
I just downloaded FireFox yesterday, and installed it today. But I don't see any tabbing, like it promised on the website!

ok...easier way that installing crap. in the address bar go to "about:config" without the "" and search for tab. Find the one about tab preferences and right click it and switch it. Once you do that click tools, preferences, and took for all your tab options
lastly, right click over the home button...you can customize this toolbar (which i always do) and the first thing i add is the open new tab button here. you can also have an open new windows button if you'd like also

I click on a link with the mousewheel to open a new tab. Middle click on the tab itself will close that tab. I love tabbed browsing.

exactly
...
Explorer.exe rarely goes over 14 mb, it usually is high 13s....when you add a process, it doesn't add to explorer.exe....
Thats my understanding, a correction is in order if I'm wrong

iexplore.exe is the internet explorer executable which does come up when opening ie.
it does NOT come up if you open my computer/explorer/search bar/whatever and use that to browse the internet.

July 11th, 2005, 04:15 AM #16I think you are confused, explorer.exe is the Windows Program Manager or Windows Explorer. It manages the Windows Graphical Shell including the Start menu, taskbar, desktop, and File Manager. By removing this process the graphical interface for Windows will disappear.

Explorer does fluctuate in size depending on what's being used, but that does not correlate to firefox being dependent upon windows explorer at all.* ¨ )
