What is Netzero up to?

i ran hijackthis and wintasks pro 5 and found this about this file
C:\Program Files\NetZero\exec.exe
C:\Program Files\NetZero\exec.exe

Path: C:\Program Files\NetZero\exec.exe
Name: exec.exe
EXE Name: W32/Spybot-Z Trojan
EXE InternalName: ZCOM_exec*
EXE LegalCopyright: Copyright © 2002 United Online, Inc.*
EXE Desc: exec.exe is a process which is registered as the W32/Spybot-Z Trojan. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer, stealing passwords and personal data. It is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Please see additional details regarding this process.Note: exec.exe is a part of the Death Zone Remote Administration Tool, which allows an attacker to take control of your desktop. This program is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Note: exec.exe can also belong to the NetZero Internet service providers Internet accelerator application. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems. Please see additional details regarding this process.

if this is true, how can i work around it if exec.exe is the dialer for netzero? why would netzero put a trojan in their software? or am i just getting a little paranoid? im running netzero high speed, if i bypass netzero's software and dialup directly from windows, can i still use the highspeed part of it? so many questions, maybe i can get some answers.

Your answer lies in this statement: "Note: exec.exe can also belong to the NetZero Internet service providers Internet accelerator application. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems"

Unless your having problems. leave it be. You have to use the NZ software to dial and access the NZ highspeed.

I'd probably just set Hijack this to ignore that file in future scans.
