Help with wireless connection

A few months ago, I purchased a Latitude Dell D600 from a local company. The guy from the company gave me the laptop, and set everything up wirelessly. It worked fine. But some spyware, viruses etc. got on the computer and I formatted it and reinstalled Windows XP Pro. Everything works fine except for the wireless card and internet (even if it is connected up directly). I think I need to install the driver for the wireless card. It is RAS Async Adapter. What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Actually it's an Agere card. You can use any number of drivers for it. I'd suggest going to the dell website and getting their reference driver. support.dell.com
