Microsoft recently wants us to pay a subscription fee to be able to check hotmail accounts via a client for $19.99 a month which is straight stupid.
I have been trying to find an email client for hotmail, free of course, but have only came across one program which you run while using a client such as Outlook called Hotmail Popper. Well, sadly to say either it doesn't work or I am doing it wrong.
If someone uses this successfully or knows of a client which does work, please let me know. |

Your ISP assigned an E-mail address to your account when you signed up for their service. They have a Web Mail access I bet. You can access their Web Mail interface from any computer, just like Hotmail.
Cheers! |

You can still use OE but it's just recently (last 6 months) became a paid subscription service. |

Actually, if you've been an old member of hotmail, the "use OE to check hotmail for free" option still exists. That's the only reason why I still have my hotmail acct. |

Just open outlook express, create a new account in OE, specify Hotmail, and it should let you login no problem.
When they were doing the whole "We are stopping this service" ordeal, I received an e-mail from them saying that right now they're only disabling that feature to new members, but old members, and paid members get to keep that feature. |

Did you just sign up for this hotmail account, or have you had for a couple years? I use incredimail, which I like better than any of the Outlooks. |

| You seriously think incredimail is better than Outlook 2003? Outlook 2000 sucked, but 2003 is quite a nice client.
