Strange BulletProof FTP server problem: Cannot retrieve in the middle of transfer
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out what is causing this problem I have: People will connect fine to my server, even start downloading, but sometiems after a few hours, I get 426: Cannot Retrieve Error and the downloading "aborts"
Why could this be? I mean they're already downloading for even hours and then all of a sudden this happens. And I think it happend to all people connected (it was 2 at the time)Last edited by Flav_cool; November 21st, 2005 at 02:39 PM.

do you have any type of QOS enabled? I have a linksys WRT54G router running BP and i had this issue when i enabled QOS. Disabled the option and people were able to download stuff.
Does your ISP have some sort of quota maybe?

What is QOS? And no my ISP doesn't have a quota. In fact, after they have that error. If they just reget the file it usually works... So it just happens at random times even after it was working perfectly and will work after (but the download will have to be restarted if they were just using IE instead of a real FTP client)
