You need to get into contact with Verizon on what they are offering and what you need to do to configure your equipment.
My understanding is Verizon gives users a dsl modem/router equipment. But i dont know if that is everywhere. |

they said i need to contact netgear for router configuration lol
I hate how they dont wanna take care of it. And knowing that netgear has horrible customer support.
Well when i run smart wizard, it saids i have static IP.
I got the Internet IP and DNS server by going into linksys router and looking at router status. When i put it in the new netgear router, i still dont get internet =( |

Oh... I've read some discussion under this forum and found out that Westell Wirespeed 2100 (which is what i have) has a built in router. Do i need to configurate when switching from linksys to netgear router? |

nvm.... i figured it out. Westell 2100 is a dumb modem and verizon was binding to my linksys router so i had to call them up to hook up my netgear. It works fine but still low signal =( |

Hey NightRise, the Hawking 15dBi corner reflector antenna we were IM'ing about is working EXCELLENTLY for me. I can pick up my neighbor's router across the street... from rooms facing AWAY from the street. I would give it a shot. |
