Verizon FiOS

well i have IO cable service but lately my internet was starting to slow down and i have done everything possible(changing modem, cables, splitter) yet nothing really got the speed back to what i used to have and my modem restarts for no reason. i called a techinitian once but than i had to pay some money to supposedly "fix" my internet so now im changing to FiOS. does anyone have FiOS and wants to enlighten me how good FiOS is?

if it works like advertized, FiOS is the best you can get: fiber optic line to your house. read the fine print if they make you sign a contract though, verizon is pretty notorious for not holding up their end of the deal after you sign on the dotted line.

if i could gett hat service where i am at, i wouldn't think twice about it.

Live in the test market, have had FIOS from the beginning. Excellent. Never looked back.

Not sure I can move now (i.e. to a non-Fios market)

Fios video still needs some work.

FIOS Router Issues

I switched from DSL to Verizon FIOS. Now I cannot access my workgroup PC's or my IP printer. Everything worked fine with my Linksys Router. Now I have the FIOS Actiontec MI424WR and the workgroup PC's cannot even ping each other. ALL WORKED FINE WITH THE LINKSYS.

Any ideas on why this Actiontec MI424WR casues so many issues?
