    Disable wireless on Wireless Router

Netgear sent me a replacement router a FWG114Pv2 wireless router. My setup here is totally wired, nothing wireless at all.
Netgear sent me this router because they couldn't get a wired only one to work after 3 replacements.

Anyway when I first set it up it wouldn't connect to the internet so I foolishly thought that i might have to set the wireless part up as well.

After finally getting the router to work perfectly on my home LAN I now want to make sure that noone can access it via the wireless part.

Is there any way to disable the wireless part of this wireless router so that it will be a wired only router?

    thanks

    yes you can...

If you log on to your router
    192.168.0.1
    username -admin
    password -password

    (unless you have changed these)

on the main menu, click the Wireless link (under setup)
once there you will have the following display.

    Wireless Network
    Name (SSID)
    Region
    Channel
    Current Channel No
    Mode -

    Wireless Access Point
    Enable Wireless Access Point
    Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID)

Just untick the box next to Enable Wireless Access Point
that will turn the wireless off.
