Should be this:

Incoming (POP3) Mail Server: pop.cox-internet.com
Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server: smtp.cox-internet.com

(from http://www.cox-internet.com/support/email_help.htm)

Thanks, but actually its:

Incoming (POP3) Mail Server: pop.central.cox.net
Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server: smtp.central.cox.net

i finally found this out after 2 hours. i did their automatic online answering something or other and it automatically configured outlook for me. i just went back and looked to see what it had entered in the server options.
