Lag spikes or internet crash

Hey I play video Games on a wireless(I know its not good) but when im playing or just browsing the internet my internet crashes everynow and then or i get lag spikes. Im using a Linksys router and i have comcast and before I got a new Hard Drive my internet was working fine now it's all screwed up. If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated thanx.

Could be a load of different things, check if your harddrive is running in pio mode or not, it shouldnt it shoudl be running in ata100 if thats what you got or higher if you got sata. The other thing you should see if your wireless card has some firmware update, some do, and it helps a lot, i had a laptop that had bad connection and then got the firmware update and everything worked 10 times better.
