    Exclamation suscom internet ... stops and now ... problems

     
    we had a internet black out in pearl MS today and now my friends internet wont work. we are using suscom digital cable, after internet started up, my computer ran fine and the internet was kicking it. but my friends says" welcome to comcast internet and prompts a download. it did not do that to me. and when he tries to dl it , it says network adapter can not be found. and cannot get to anythings online

    Have you checked to see if the network adapater is showing up on the computer?

    Does all the modem lights sync up when you reset the modem? Does he have a router at all?

    Odd

    i have suscom as well but i am in pa and we went down for a day
    when things came back up it shows that the ip and dns servers belong to camcast
