mine doesn't. I can't get my printer to work from the client machine...arrgghhh! I got the internet working but can't seem to find the printer on the server.

For routers in general, this link may help some... http://www.howstuffworks.com/router.htm
and for the NAT function most home routers use... http://www.howstuffworks.com/nat.htm

On host box goto printer folder and right click it and share full then goto each network box and install shared printer easiest way is to browse for the shared printer.

Sorry didn't notice didn't notice it was Sweeper that had the printer share prob.tcp/ip is an address that allows networks to operate like your home address each box has its own like 192.168.0.1 & the next would be 192.168.0.2 & so on so that no 2 boxes have the same address.

how would i go about finding the port on all my programs like ICQ, my FTP thingy and IE?
btw, i'm getting a router tomorrow and i have a few options, all 4 ports and all the same price pretty much ($160):
D-LINK
SMC
Linksys
Netgear
i read a few bad reviews on Linksys so they're cut off right now unless you guys totaly swear by them.

ive had no problems with linksys. personally i think there great. you can pick up the linksys for like like 90 bucks now. easy to use and to setup. haven't had much experience with the others. ICQ should work fine. IE will have no problems as it uses port 80 as same as the router. FTP you might have to set up. which is simple.
